FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team enters its third week of competition, traveling to Northridge for the CSUN Fall Invitational which begins on Friday.

NOTES FROM 2015: In two fall tournaments, Cal State Fullerton is 17-21 in singles matches and 13-9 in doubles contests. One of the doubles victories includes a bracket title from the Beach Tennis Tournament as the team of Emilia Borkowksi and Danielle Pham won its doubles flight on Oct. 11. Camille De Leon (3-2), Alexis Valenzuela (3-2) and freshman Sarah Nuno (4-3) each hold winning records in singles play, while the doubles teams of De Leon and Valenzuela (5-2) and Borkowski and Pham (5-1) have experienced recent success.

LAST YEAR'S CSUN FALL INVITATIONAL: Cal State Fullerton reached the title match of two different brackets at the CSUN Fall Invitational in 2014. The doubles team of Emilia Borkowski and Kalika Slevcove defeated Portland's Maja Mladenovic and Amanda Zuidema, 8-4, to take first place in the doubles black bracket, while Zuidema defeated Slevcove, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2, in the first place match of the singles silver bracket.

A LOOK AT THE 2015 TITANS: Rebekkah Ermac is the only senior on the roster while the Titans boast an experienced junior class of Big West All-Conference selections Alexis Valenzuela and Camille De Leon as well as redshirt junior Emilia Borkowski. Danielle Pham is the only sophomore on the squad and the freshmen include Isabel Donaldson, Carolen Fararji, Masako Makiba, Sarah Nuno and Karla Portalatin.

UP NEXT: Following the CSUN Fall Invitational, the Titans will conclude fall play at the Jack Kramer Invitational, Thursday, Nov. 5-Sunday, Nov. 8, in Palos Verdes, Calif.
