SAN DIEGO – Junior Emilia Borkowski earned a singles victory on the third day of competition at the ITA Southwest Regional at the Barnes Tennis Center on Saturday.

In the round of 64 in the consolation bracket, Borkwoski defeated Susie Balini of Grand Canyon, 8-5. Borkowski is scheduled to play Kristen Poei of CSUN on Sunday.

Also in action, the doubles team of Camille De Leon and Alexis Valenzuela suffered an 8-2 loss to the tournament's fifth-seeded doubles team, Shayne Austin and Lauren Marker of Arizona. The Titans were eliminated from the winners' bracket in the round of 16.
