PRIOR TO CAL STATE FULLERTON (UNLV)
Cassie returns home to the Southern California area after spending three seasons at UNLV. She played in 57 games for UNLV, making 50 career starts.  She scored 10 career goals for the Rebels and tallied seven assists. She brings to the team 27 career points.  She has played over 3,028 minutes for the Rebels.  

HIGH SCHOOL
She graduated from La Mirada High School in 2023 where she was a two-time San Gabriel Valley All-Area team selection.She played three years of varsity soccer at La Mirada and also four years of varsity track. She was all conference and the offensive MVP her sophomore through senior year.  She played club soccer for the SoCal Blues and Slammers FC.

PERSONAL
She was born in Bellflower, Calif. to Leticia and Jorge Villanueva.  She has one younger sister, Coi.  She is majoring in economics. She enjoys spending her free time with her family.  She models her game after Marta.  Her favorites include Chick-Fil-A (Food), Lionel Messi (Athlete), FC Barcelona (Sports Team), Rio (Movie), SZA (Musical Artist), Great Park Irvine (Place to Play), Zendaya (Musical Artist), Lucille's BBQ (Resturant)
