Ten Titans Named to MPSF Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Team

The MPSF conference named 10 Indoor Track and Field athletes to 2026 All-Academic team.

FULLERTON, Calif. – The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference recognized the 10 Titans student athletes who met the All-Academic requirements on Wednesday morning. The conference recognizes student athletes who are at least a sophomore academically that have completed a full academic year at Cal State Fullerton and maintained a 3.00 GPA while participating in at least fifty percent of team competition.
 
Brooklyn Davis, Alyssa Heinlein, Mayalee Osola, Bella Turner and Olivia Walker were named to the women's all-academic team. Davis recorded a personal-best 7.36 in the women's 60m dash at the MPSF Championships while Heinlein competed on the record-breaking women's 4x400m relay team. The relay team ran a program-best 3:37.87 at the championships. Turner logged a third-place finish in the 60m hurdles with an 8.56 mark.
 
Walker and Osola competed in the women's pentathlon at the championships, both breaking the previous school record of 3,569 points and finishing in the top five. Walker finished in third with 3,773 points while Osola finished in fifth with 3,650 points.
 
On the men's side, Brayden Bitter, Ian Dossman, Dominic Gates, Abel Jordan and Keith Orona met the requirements to be named to the men's All-Academic team. Bitter logged a 16.38m shot put and a 16.23m weight throw at the MPSF Championships. Gates ran a personal-best 21.50 in the 200m dash and 6.88 in the 60m dash finals.
 
Dossman ran a 20.54 in the 200m at the conference championships and went on to run a fifth place, 20.57 mark at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Jordan nabbed a pair of gold medals in the men's 60m dash and 60m hurdles while Orona tallied 5,440 points in the men's heptathlon, finishing in second place.
 
The Titans approach the halfway point of the 2026 outdoor season this Friday when Fullerton hosts the Challenge Cup Classic at Titan Track.
