FULLERTON, Calif.  – The Fullerton Titans and 2025-26 Big West Coach of the Year announced that Tiernan Stynes has signed with Cal State Fullerton ahead of the 2026-27 basketball season. "He cannot get to campus quick enough" said Coach Dedrique Taylor.
 
The 6'6 guard out of Melbourne, Australia entered the transfer portal after an impressive freshman campaign at Quincy University. Stynes averaged 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in his 19 appearances. He previously played in the NBL1, a semi-professional Australian basketball league. Taylor said, "He adds to our character, our skill and he will improve our ability to rebound."
 
Coach Taylor added, "Toughness, experience and versatility are all attributes that are synonymous with Tiernan and all things that go into winning. We are excited that he will be with us in our pursuit of a Big West Championship next season."
