2026 Titans Defeat Alumni at Goodwin Field

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball defeated the Alumni team by a final score of 22-3 Saturday afternoon at Goodwin Field in the annual Alumni game.

As it does every year, the alumni game had a tremendous turnout, with Titans from every decade since the program's inception in 1965, in attendance at Goodwin Field.

Andrew Kirchner got the scoring started for the 2026 Titans with a two-run double in the bottom of the first inning.

First year transfer, Britton Beeson, extended the Titans lead to 4-0 in the second inning on a two-run home run.

The Titans scored 12 unanswered runs to start the game before the alumni got on the board in the seventh inning on a three-run home run by Matthew Bardowell.

Fullerton scored four runs in the seventh and six in the eighth inning to jump out to a 22-3 lead.

The Titans now turn their attention to opening weekend beginning Friday, Feb. 13 at Goodwin Field against CBU.
