Men’s Water Polo Announces 2025 Schedule

FULLERTON, Calif. – Head Coach Kyle Witt and the Cal State Fullerton Men's Water Polo team announced the 2025 schedule on Friday. The Titans will host two tournaments and a total of 13 matches at Titan Aquatic Center.

"We have lofty goals for our third season of competition. Having nearly half of our team playing their third season of Division I water polo will be a nice change from our inexperience that showed last season at times. This schedule will challenge us from start to finish both mentally and physically. We are not established enough to look past anybody, and we will have to prepare for every game in order to come out on the winning side", Coach Witt said about the upcoming season.

The Titans begin their 2025 slate on August 29th at the UCI Tournament. Cal State Fullerton will face-off against Loyola Marymount, Concordia, Cal Baptist, and Big West opponent, UC Irvine. They will then travel to Colorado to play in the Rare Air Challenge hosted by Air Force. During their time at the Air Force Academy, they will compete against the host school, Augustana, UC Merced, and McKendree.

Coach Witt and the Titans return home to host the Fullerton Invitational on September 12th and 13th. This two-day tournament welcomes Occidental College, Brown, Air Force, Harvard and Biola. The Titans play two games on Friday and three on Saturday. Cal State Fullerton keeps the action at home rolling for the one-day Fullerton Mini Tournament taking place on September 20th. Fresno Pacific and Cal Lutheran will be the guests at the Mini Tournament.

The Titans head to Riverside, California to compete in the CBU tournament, facing Austin College, Biola, Concordia Irvine and Occidental as they close out the month of September.  Following the CBU Tournament, CSF hosts their first non-conference meet against McKendree on October 1st at 7 p.m.

Cal State Fullerton will go to Claremont for the final tournament of the season before conference play begins. The Titans will take on Mount St. Mary's, Redlands, Cal Lutheran and Cal Baptist in the Gary Troyer Tournament.

Big West Conference action kicks off at Titan Aquatic Center against the defending Big West Champions, Long Beach State, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th, and then they head up to UC Davis on October 17th. "Once again, the Big West is the second most competitive conference in the country and we have high goals of being right in the mix competing with everyone game to game", Coach Witt added.

The Titans are scheduled to host a three-game homestand, beginning Oct. 24th. Fullerton will host Big West rivals, UC Irvine and UC San Diego along with non-conference opponent, Long Island University.

CSF takes a trip to Malibu, California on Sunday, November 2nd for a 1 p.m. start against Pepperdine. On November 7th, the Titans will host Concordia Irvine for the final home game at 6 p.m.

Fullerton wraps up conference play and the regular season on the road at UC Santa Barbara and Cal Baptist on November 9th and 15th.
The Titans then head to Irvine, Nov. 21st-23rd, where they will look to make a push for the postseason at the Big West Tournament.
