Women's Soccer Announces Schedule for 2025 Season

FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton head women's soccer coach Demian Brown announced the 2025 schedule on Tuesday which features 10 home games at Titan Stadium. The schedule is highlighted by the Titans taking on two Atlantic Coast Conference opponents as they host Cal in their home opener and also head to the University of Pittburgh. The Titans will make it two consecutive East Coast trips over the past two seasons after flying out across the country to take on Florida Gulf Coast and the University of Pittsburgh.

"The 2025 schedule will provide a fantastic opportunity for our women's soccer program to test themselves against some of the country's top programs and players", said Brown. "We have a great mixture of challenging road matches and exciting home games that will give our fans enough to cheer for this fall."

Titans fans can get a chance to see the team at home before the season starts as they will play their annual blue and white scrimmage game on August 2nd. They will then host their future Big West opponent, the CBU Lancers on August 8th in an exhibtion match at Titan Stadium. 

The season gets underway officially on Thursday, August 14th in Fort Myers, Florida where the Titans will head across the country to take on the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. The Titans and Eagles have just one previous meeting where the Titans hosted FGCU in 2015.  The Titans won 4-3 in double overtime. The Eagles are coming off an 11-6-2 season last year and made it to the NCAA tournament the prior two seasons in 2022 and 2023.

The Titans will then host Cal in their home opener on Sunday, August 17th.  Last season, Cal went 13-6-2 in their first season in the ACC and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.  The Titans lost 1-0 at Cal last season.

The Titans will then head to the University of Portland which they last played in 2007. The Pilots were 9-5-6 last season and went 4-3-3 in WCC play.

The Titans will return that weekend to host UTEP at home on August 21st.  The Titans have played the Miners just one time before with their last match up coming in 1996. They went 5-8-4 last season with a 2-5-2 record in the Conference USA.

The Titans will then spend the following two weeks on the road.  They head to the University of Pittsburgh on Thursday, August 28th.   The Panthers went 9-6-3 last season and defeated the Titans 2-0 at home.  The Titans will then head to LMU on Saturday, September 6th to take on the Lions.  The Lions are coming off an 11-5-2 season in which they beat the Titans 2-0 at Titan Stadium last season.

The Titans will then host four straight games at home over the next two weeks beginning with New Mexico State on Thursday, September 11th.  The Aggies went 11-6-3 last season. They will then host the University of New Mexico on Sunday, September 14th. The Lobos went 7-6-5 last season.  The Titans will wrap non-conference play when host San Jose State on Thursday, September 18th.  This will be the first meeting with the Spartans since the 2018 season.  The Spartans went 1-13-5 last season and 1-7-3 in the Mountain West.

The Titans will close out the four game home stand on Sunday, September 21st when they begin Big West play by hosting CSUN.

The Titans head to UC Riverside for their first road Big West game on Thursday September 25th before hosting the University of Hawaii (Thursday, October 2nd) and UC Davis (Sunday, October 5th) the following week.

The Titans will then go on a three game road trip in the middle of October as they head to the Central Coast to take on UC Santa Barbara (Thursday, October 9th) and Cal Poly (Sunday, October 12th).  They will head south to La Jolla to take on UC San Diego on Sunday, October 19th.

The Titans will host their final two home conference games against UC Irvine (Thursday, October 23rd) and Long Beach State (Sunday, October 26th). They will play their final conference game of the regular season on the road at Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday, October 30th.

The opening round of the Big West Tournament is set for Sunday, November 2nd.  The semi finals will take place on Thursday, November 6th and the championship match on Sunday, November 9th. The first round of the NCAA tournament is set to begin on November 14th.
