IRVINE, Calif. – Ava Arce and Nataly Lozano both garner their third Big West Player of the Week honors following impressive performances at the plate in their series sweep over CSUN at Anderson Family Field, the conference announced Monday. 

Ava Arce earned her third Field Player of the Week honors after slashing .444/.500/1.111 against the Matadors. Arce, who went 4-for-9 over the weekend, started the scoring for the Titans in their 2-0 series-opening victory with a two-run home run, adding another two-run blast to the scoreboard in the series finale. 

In three games, the junior infielder contributed six RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base to her stat line. Arce leads the team in slugging (.699), hits (50), RBI (48), home runs (9) and total bases (86), while leading The Big West in hits. Overall, Arce is batting .407 and slugging .699 with 18 extra base hits. She has recorded a team-high 15 games with more than one run batted in, averaging 1.2 RBI per game. 

Nataly Lozano earned back-to-back Freshman of the Week honors after batting .800 (8-for-10) with two doubles, three RBI and five runs scored against the Matadors. She set a new career best for most hits in a single game in the series finale, going 4-for-4 with a double, three runs and an RBI. Lozano leads the team with a .412 batting average, while ranking top three in the conference in batting average, runs scored (29), hits (49) and RBI (33).

The Titans have received three Freshman of the Week honors, four Field Player of the Week honors and one Pitcher of the Week honors for the 2025 season. Catch the Titans back in action at Anderson Family Field this weekend as they host UC Davis. The Titans and Aggies open the series on Friday with a doubleheader set for 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. before closing the series on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
