In the first game of the day, the Titans looked to be taking control of the game before the Mountaineers stole the momentum of the game in the third quarter to get the win over the Titans.

The Titans and Mountaineers each scored one goal a piece in the first quarter as Destiny Hernandez started the scoring for the Titans.

In the second quarter, Neida Torres and Delaney Latham both scored before the Mountaineers got one back at the end of second quarter to make it a 3-2 game.

Taylor Mason started the scoring in the third quarter to restore the two goal lead and make it a 4-2 game.  However, the Mountaineers went on a 4-0 scoring run to take a 6-4 lead. Emme Doube-MacLeod got one goal back for the Titans just before the period ended to make it a 6-5 game heading into the final frame.

The Aussie freshman, Doube-MacLeod scored again to equalize the game at 6-6 to start the fourth quarter.  The Mountaineers then scored the next two goals to restore an 8-6 lead over the Titans.  The Titans responded with the freshman duo of Ileina Hatori and Jade Lonzo scoring goals to tie the game at 8-8.  However, the Mountaineers scored the last goal of the game in the ensuing possession to take the 9-8 lead.  The Titans couldn't find another equalizer over the final 1:41 of the game.

Emme Doube-Macleod led the Titans with two goals and one assist in the game. Annabelle Sherman made 9 saves in the cage.

The second game of the day was a completely different story than the first one as the Titans had to play far from behind to attempt a comeback against the Wildcats.

Emme Doube-MacLeod scored the first goal of the game to give the Titans an early 1-0 lead. However, with the Titans Number 1 goalkeeper Sherman unavailable for the game, Villanova scored six times in the first quarter and led 6-1 after the first.

The Titans outscored Villanova 3-to-1 in the second quarter as Taylor Mason scored twice and Elise Bliss scored to make it a 7-4 game at halftime.

Both sides traded one goal a piece in the third quarter as Taylor Mason completed her hat trick.  Villanova led 8-5 after the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the offense was flowing on both sides.  Each time the Titans scored, the Wildcats would answer.  Destiny Hernandez scored twice and Emme Doube-MacLeod scored to start the third period but the Titans couldn't chip away at the lead as Villanova answered each goal.  Finally during the final 90 seconds, Jade Lonzo scored to make it an 11-9 game.  The Titans got a late consolation goal from Neida Torres as she scored on the final play of the game to make it an 11-10 game.

Sienna Bertsch got the start and played the first quarter in the cage.  Alexandra Ortiz played the final three quarters and allowed just five goals and made three saves.

The Titans will play two games tomorrow to close out the Convergence Tournament.  Their first game is against Biola at 9:00 am and their second game is against La Salle at 12:45 p.m.  Both games will have live stats on the fosh and will be streamed live on FloSports.
