HONOLULU – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball lost to Hawaii on the road Saturday night by a final score of 82-57. The Titans drop to 6-17 on the year and 1-10 in Big West play.
Fullerton fell in a hole early in the game. After the Titans scored the first bucket, Hawaii went on a 13-0 run to take a 13-2 lead. The Titans were never able to climb back from that point on.
Donovan Oday led the Titans with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting while grabbing six rebounds. Zion Richardson added 10 points while Zach Visentin scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting off the bench.
The Titans shot just 36.5 percent from the field and 23.5 percent from three-point range. On the other end, Hawaii shot 44.3 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from behind the arc.
Fullerton is back in action Thursday as the team heads to Northridge to take on CSUN. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
