Two more lengthy runs by the Matadors extended their advantage to 15-6 before Sarah Schubert recorded a kill. Nakata and Hall added six more kills in an effort to battle from behind, however, CSUN closed out the second set with a 25-15 win on an attack error by the Titans.

The Titans found some momentum from the service line with Devin Hicks recording two service aces and Carissa Wiles adding a pair of kills off the bench in the third set. CSUN sailed to a 25-14 set win to secure a 3-0 match victory over the Titans.

As a team, the Titan recorded 30 kills on .118 hitting compared to CSUN's 40 kills on .347 hitting.
