FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans took off one last time in the regular season at the
John Elders Titan Classic on Friday. The women finished in third with
Grace Toriz leading the Titans while
Diego Mejia and
Logan Harris were the only men to race on Friday.
Toriz led the Titans with her eighth place, 22:23.4 season-best finish.
Barbora Svobodova was right behind her, finishing in ninth with a 22:37.9 time. Less than 20 seconds later,
Fiona Holloway and
Cassandra Apahidean made their way to the finish line, finishing in 14
th and 15
th.
Natalie Maahs logged a 23:32.1 finish in 21
st.
Lexi Cilley and
Rosie Nowlin wrapped up the race for the Titans as Cilley finished in 44
th and Nowlin in 48
th. Nowlin's 26:31.8 mark on Friday was her first ever collegiate race.
Harris finished in 19th with a time of 25:52.4 while Mejia was behind him finishing with a season-best 26:20.5 in the Friday night race.
The Titans head to Honolulu, Hawaii next Friday, Oct. 31 for the 2025 Big West Cross Country Championships.
