RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Titans competed at the UCR Invite on Saturday morning where the women's team finished second in the 6k invite. The women's team had five personal bests recorded in their second-place finish with 152 points. The men's team logged 320 points, finishing just short of the top 10, in 12^th.
 
Barbora Svobodova had the highest finish for Fullerton in the women's 6k. Svobodova recorded a new personal best, 20:39.5 in her 14^th place finish. Makena Oliva, also recorded a new personal best with her 20:44.9 time, rounding out the top 20. Casey McConn, Joy Weber and Caitlin Cilley were the other three Titans to record a personal best in the women's race.
 
In the men's 8k, there were four personal-bests recorded. Matthew Kubler finished first for the Titans in 20^th place with a time of 24:05.7. Carlos Maradiaga, Jacob Brown, and Mason Nguyen also recorded new personal bests.
 
Grace Toriz and Rachel Sanchez had the highest finishes of the day as they finished in the top ten of the women's open 5k race. Toriz ran a personal best 18:08.3 time, finishing in seventh while Sanchez was right behind in eighth with a time of 18:09.6. Maleah Johnson and Elena Martinez also competed in the open race and finished with a personal best.
 
Ibzan Felix and Sebastian Bello represented Fullerton in the men's open 8k. Felix finished at the 25:41.9 mark, a new personal best. Bello also recorded a new best with a 26:10.0 time.
 
The Titans are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 17^th at the UCR Highlander Invite.
