FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Women's soccer team lost 2-0 to LMU on Thursday night.

The Titans wrapped up their non-conference slate with a 2-6-1 overall record as they head into Big West play on Sunday against CSUN.

The Lions scored in the 8th minute to take an early lead over the Titans. The Titans had a couple shots on frame from Karla Rodriguez and Vanessa Buso but couldn't find the equalizer in the first half. 

In the second half, the Titans dominated the early spell of play while pushing for an equalizer as they forced four corner kicks and had six shots.  

However LMU sealed the match in the 83rd minute after Megan Rucker dribbled her way into the box and shot it past Ranson to make it 2-0.

The Titans will head to CSUN on Sunday as they look to defend their Big West regular season title. Kick-off is set for 7:00 PM
