Baseball Adds Six Junior College Signees for the 2025 Season

FULLERTON, Calif. – Head Coach Jason Dietrich announced the Titans have signed six junior college players to National Letters of Intent for the 2025 season.

"Our staff has been evaluating our current roster and the future of the program at a high level." Dietrich said. "We feel we are bringing in players that will help bolster our position player group while we have also added a left-handed pitcher that can compete for innings on the weekend. We feel this group of players will be solid additions to our current players and commits. We are excited to get them on campus and continue working hard and competing for championships".

Andrew Kirchner
1B | Lakewood, Calif. | Golden West College

Andrew is a first baseman with a smooth left-handed swing that produces power to all fields. We feel Andrew can infuse left-handed power into our lineup and be a solid first basemen. Andrew has played an integral role in his team clinching the Orange Empire League title this season. Andrew hit .314 with nine doubles, eight home runs and 25 RBI along with a .434 on-base percentage. Andrew was selected to the Second Team All-Orange Empire Conference.

Kirchner Signed

Isaiah Gomez
3B | La Mesa, Calif. | San Diego Mesa College Ā

Isaiah is one of the top offensive performers in the state. He brings a unique blend to the plate showing the ability to hit for average and power. He has grown up wanting to be a Titan and he will wear the uniform with pride and play the right way. Isaiah hit .417 with 10 doubles, 14 home runs and 42 RBI's while slugging .820. Isaiah was selected to the First Team All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.

Niko Lombardi
C | Fremont, Calif. | Ohlone College

Niko is a solid backstop that has shown the ability to catch and throw. He is leading the state in throwing out runners and is nailing them at a 43 percent clip. Niko has been no slouch at the plate hovering close to .400 all season. His leadership skills behind the plate are what attracted us to him. He is also teammates with LHP Jayden Harper from Ohlone College. Niko finished off the season hitting .398 with 18 doubles, six home runs and 34 RBI while slugging .720. Niko earned First Team All-Coast Conference North.

Lombardi Signed

Logan Hart
OF | Hughson, Calif. | Modesto College

Logan is a good athlete that played football in high school and brings that mentality to the baseball field. He has speed to shrink the gaps in the outfield and steal bases. A left-handed hitter that is still developing power and could hit at the top of the order. He was a high school teammate of current Titan pitcher Payton Hawkinson at Turlock High School together. Logan hit .336 with 11 doubles, five triples, 41 RBI and 19 stolen bases. Logan was selected to the Second Team All-Big 8 Conference.

Hart Signed

Jayden Harper
LHP | Fremont, Calif. | Ohlone College

Jayden is a lefty that has shown the capability to start, and we expect to come in and compete for a weekend spot. He comes from Ohlone College where former Titan pitcher Tyler Stultz played. We see some traits in Jayden that reminded us of Stultz. Jayden will be joining his backstop from Ohlone, Niko Lomabardi. Jayden finished the season with a strikeout per nine innings rate of 13.34, good for third in the state. He also logged 56 innings pitched with a 3-4 record in 11 starts, helping his team advance to the playoffs. Jayden was selected to the Second Team All-Coast Conference North.

Harper Signed

Paul Contreras
OF | Salida, Calif. | Modesto College

Paul is a player that can be classified as a five-tool player. He can run, throw, defend, hit, and hit for power. We see Paul coming in and contributing on both sides of the ball and he has tremendous upside to keep developing his skill set. He is the type of player that can hit at the top or middle of the order. He is currently teammates with Logan Hart at Modesto College where they are the one-two punch that has helped lead the team to the playoffs. Paul finished the season with a .344 batting average, 15 doubles, six home runs, 38 RBI and 12 stolen bases. Paul earned First Team All-Big 8 Conference and was a Gold Glove winner.

Contreras Signed
