FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's water polo lost at home against the No. 12 UC San Diego Tritons 15-4 on Friday night at the Titan Aquatics Center.
The Titans (9-15, 0-3 BWC) trailed 6-2 at halftime before allowing nine second half goals to the Tritons.

Mikka Von Scherr,
Madelyn Halva, and
Vicharadani Minott found the net for the Titans. Â
Annabelle Sherman played the first three quarters in the cage for the Titans and made four saves. Â
Haden Skye Bates played the final quarter and made one save.
The Tritons jumped to an early 4-0 lead in the first quarter. Â
Lacey Hall scored the first goal for the Titans with 0:37 left in the first quarter to make it 4-1.
The Titans and Tritons traded goals early to start the second quarter with
Mikka Von Scherr denting the twine to make it 5-2. Â
The Tritons scored with :38 seconds left in the quarter to hold a 6-2 lead into halftime.
The Tritons outscored the Titans 3-1 in the third quarter with
Madelyn Halva finding the net for the Titans.
Both sides emptied the bench in the final quarter where the Tritons turned what was a 9-3 game into a 15-4 game. Â
Vicharadani Minott scored for the Titans during period.
The Titans will play their penultimate home game and close out a three-game homestand on Sunday against CSUN. Â The game will start at noon against the Matadors.
