SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball dropped the series finale to UC Santa Barbara by a final score of 4-0 Sunday afternoon. The Titans are now 13-28 on the year and 5-16 in conference play.Â
The Gauchos scored one run in the first inning, two in the second and one in the fourth while holding the Titans to just two hits.Â
Derek Turner got the start for Fullerton and gave up four runs on seven hits while striking out four batters in 3.2 innings pitched.Â
Peyton Jones and Seth Tomczak held UC Santa Barbara scoreless for the final four innings. Jones pitched 2.1 innings while Tomczak pitched two shutout innings.Â
Fullerton is back in action next weekend for a three-game series against UCLA. Friday night's game will be played at Angel Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at
