AZUSA, Calif. — Ian Dossman and Teresa Chang posted podium finishes to highlight Cal State Fullerton outdoor track and field's Saturday showing at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Dossman, the school record holder in the men's 200m, clocked in at 20.86 to earn second place in the event. Teammate Alonzo Floriolli followed in 11th place with a 21.20, while Dominic Gates posted a 21.42 to place 18th.
In the women's shot put, Teresa Chang finished third with a mark of 14.33m. The result moved her to second all time in program history in the event. Evalen Garcia finished 12th with a 13.22m, while Jocelyn Alexander threw for 12.45m and placed 19th. Sahira Lepes-Sanchez tossed a 12.34m, earning a 22nd place finish.
Fullerton featured a series of additional strong results Saturday, including from Abel Jordan. The school record holder in the men's 100m ran a 10.48 in the event, earning fourth place. Alonzo Floriolli finished 10th with a 10.59 while Dominic Gates placed 25th with a 10.71.
Trinity Barnett placed 11th in the women's 200m, clocking in at 24.12. Brooklyn Davis posted a 12.01 in the women's 100m to earn a 20th place finish. Ileen Emerson led the Titans in the women's 100H, clocking in at 14.35 and finishing 29th. Mia Reid followed with a 14.37 to place 30th.
In the men's 400H, Donovan Garcia clocked a 52.99 and placed 17th overall. JT McCoy finished 25th in section C of the men's 5000m open, posting a time of 14:39.30. He also finished 87th in section C of the men's 1500m open with a 4:00.35.
The Titans return to action at the Mt. SAC Relays next week, Apr. 17-20, in Walnut, Calif.
