GREENVILLE, N.C. – Cal State Fullerton Baseball lost its final game of the Keith LeClair Classic to Purdue by a final score of 11-3 Sunday morning. With the loss the Titans drop to 4-6 on the year. 

The Titans got in a big hole from the jump, giving up 10 runs on eight hits in the top of the first inning. 

Freshman Chad Gurnea had a tough start for Fullerton, allowing eight of the 10 runs in the first inning. Gurnea is now 0-2 on the year. 

Fullerton got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Marcos Rosales and a sacrifice fly by Colby Wallace. 

Purdue added one run in the top half of the seventh inning. The Titans answered in the bottom half of the inning on an RBI single by Max Ortega. 

The Titans leave the Keith LeClair Classic winless against Southeastern Louisiana, East Carolina and Purdue. 

Fullerton looks to bounce back Tuesday night when USC comes to Goodwin Field for a midweek matchup. First pitch is slated for 6:00 p.m. PT.
