HONOLULU, HI. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's water polo team were defeated on the road against the No. 3 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine 20-4 on Friday night at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.  

The Titans fell to 9-13 overall and 0-2 in Big West conference play.  

The Titans had four goalscorers on the day with Destiny Hernandez, Eden Tal, Madelyn Halva, and Kylie Corwin all denting the twine for the Titans.

The Rainbow Wahine had a quick start to the game after leading 9-0 after the first quarter.  The Titans held off the Hawai'i attack to just one goal in the second period as the Titans trailed 10-0 at halftime. 

After the Rainbow Wahine scored the first four goals of the third quarter, Destiny Hernandez broke the shutout to make it a 14-1 game.  Eden Tal scored as well in the period as the Titans trailed 16-2 after three quarters.

In the fourth quarter, Madelyn Halva scored early in the period to make it 17-3.  Kylie Corwin scored the final goal of the game after scoring at the death of the game to make it a 20-4 finish.

The Titans will return home to the Titans Aquatic Complex on Thursday at 7 PM to take on the CBU Lancers.  The Titans have been on the road during the past five weeks.
