RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team swept UC Riverside 7-0 on the road on Friday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts. 

The Titans led 1-0 early after scoring the doubles point over the Highlanders.  The No.1 pairing of Josie Usereau/Sein Myoung won 6-0 and the No. 2 pairing of Natalie Duffy/Mariia Nikitash won their match 6-3.

In singles, No.3 Natalie Duffy was the first to finish after winning 6-3, 6-1 in straight sets.  No. 6 Milena Gevorgyan was the next to finish after winning 6-3, 6-3 in straight sets. No. 5 Mariia Nikitash secured the match point for the Titans after winning 6-2, 6-1.  The Titans had to play it out with No. 2 Sein Myoung finishing fourth with a 6-0, 6-2 straight set victory.  No .4 Seha Yu was the fifth player to finish and won 6-2, 6-2.  No. 1 Josie Usereau was the last to finish and the only player who to a third set.  She won 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) to complete the sweep for the Titans.

The Titans have two matches next week as they will take on the University of San Diego at San Diego on Friday, March 22nd.  The Titans will then return home to ta.ke on Washington State on Saturday, March 23rd
