Baseball Signs Seven Student-Athletes for the 2026 Season

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball and head coach Jason Dietrich announced the signing of seven student-athletes for the 2025-26 academic year.

"We are excited to announce the signing of seven future Titans," Dietrich said. "This class is the smallest group we have put together so far, as we currently have a solid foundation of Freshman, Sophomores, & Juniors and now this class gives us another layer to develop and build on. This class features four position players and three pitchers with six total high school players and one Juco transfer."

Esteban Olazaba
INF | Riverside, Calif. | Aquinas HS

"Zaba" is a throwback Titan type player. He plays with energy and a winning mentality. Zaba can play on the left side of the infield and has shown the consistency with the bat to barrel up baseballs. We think Zaba will get the attention of the Titan fans with his style of play."

BSB Recruit

Bobby Mahoney
RHP | Riverside, Calif. | Arrowhead Christian HS

"Bobby has the makings of being a frontline pitcher. He has shown the ability to get his velocity in the low to mid 90's. He also features solid secondary pitches as he continues to develop. Bobby has already garnered some attention from MLB scouts and could be a high draft pick out of Cal State Fullerton. Bobby has been a part of the national scene playing in the PG National Event and Area Code Games."

BSB Recruit

Damian Casas
OF | Fontana, Calif. | Aquinas HS

"Damian has the potential to be a five-tool player. He is a solid athlete that brings versatility and can play all three spots. We are looking forward to seeing him develop in a Titan uniform. Damian has also been exposed to some of the biggest amateur events as an Area Code Games participant."

BSB Recruit

Devin Miller
RHP | Aledo, Texas | Aledo HS

"Devin is the son of former Titan pitcher Dustin Miller. Devin has a lot of similar traits that Dustin showed on the mound while having a standout Titan career. Devin has the size, arm strength, and projection that you look for in a pitcher. We are excited to have Devin coming in and competing for innings."

BSB Recruit

Joseph Jasso
RHP | South Gate, Calif. | College of the Canyons

"Joseph is a Juco arm that had a solid Freshman year logging over 100 innings. He will bring solid experience to the staff next year. His arsenal features three pitches that he pounds the zone with. We anticipate Joseph coming in and competing for weekend innings."

BSB Recruit

Hunter Meyer
OF | Alta Loma, Calif. | Los Osos HS

"Hunter is a talented outfielder that has shown the ability to hit. We feel that Hunter will continue to develop power into his game. He has the athleticism and speed to play all three spots. He plays for former Titan Travis Kelly, so he knows what it takes to be a Titan baseball player. Hunter was also selected to participate in the PG National event."

BSB Recruit

Brady Dobson
1B | Stockton, Calif. | Lincoln HS

"Brady is a left-handed first baseman that could also play some outfield. Brady has a projectable frame that he can add some strength and size. With some added strength and physical maturity, we see Brady developing power into his smooth left-handed swing."
