Box Score SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball (4-21, 0-15) fell to Cal Poly (18-8, 11-4) in three sets (21-25, 22-25, 21-25 ) on Friday night. 

The two squads battled through 21 ties and 10 lead changes before falling victim to a sweep for the 10th time this season. 

The Titans fought through six ties and four lead changes in the first set, staying within two of the Mustangs until Cal Poly went on a 3-0 run to take a 17-13 lead. Fullerton responded with a 3-0 scoring run to tie the game 19-19 before taking a 21-20 lead over the Mustangs on a service ace by Laura Williams. Lyla Traylor and Williams posted three kills each in the first set before Cal Poly found the final five points of the set to defeat the Titans, 25-21. 

Lyla Traylor found her fourth kill of the match early in the second set as the Titans bounced back with a 5-0 scoring run to open the set. Bianca Martinez recorded her first kill of the match to put the Titans up 10-7. Cal Poly found momentum late in the second set to take a 23-18 lead over the Titans. Fullerton ultimately fell, 22-25, despite putting away 11 kills and posting five blocks.

The third set saw eight ties before the Titans grabbed a four-point lead over the Mustangs (13-9). Cal Poly once again went on a 5-0 run at the end of the set to take a 25-21 match win over the Titans. As a team, the Titans out-killed the Mustangs 14-12, posting a .119 hitting percentage. 

The Titans continue their road trip in Santa Barbara on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
