FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's soccer team drew 0-0 with UC Santa Barbara at home on Sunday night at Titan Stadium.
The Titans moved to 4-8-3 overall for the season and 2-2-2 in confernce play. The Titans have 8 points with four games left to play.  Hawaii leads the conference with 16 points, UCSB has 14, CSU Bakersfield and Long Beach State have 10.  The Titans are tied with CSUN and UC Irvine with 8 points.
The Titans outshot the Gauchos 21-to-12 for the gam.  However, the Gauchos had 8 shots on goal to the Titans 7 shots on goal.  The Titans also had 8 corner kicks to the Gauchos 3 corner kicks.  Maddie Buckley made seven saves in net while Ranson made 8 saves. Ranson picked up another shutout for their career and is currently at 259 career saves.Â
The Titans had the first five shots of the game before UCSB forced three shots on goal. Â
Makenna McGill and Noble had shots saved before the half as the Titans had an 8-5 shot advantage at halftime.
The Gauchos had the first three shots of the second half including Ranson making a great save on an attempt by O'Callaghan Liu. Â The Titans then saw some quality looks in the 60th minute. Â
Jenae Perez had a shot ring off the crossbar and Noble had a header miss on the follow attempt. Â
Towards the final 20 minutes of the game the Titans were all over the UCSB final third. Â
Kaylee Noble had multiple attempts on goal but had a few shots saved and a few shots just miss the net. Noble finished the game with seven shots and four shots on goal.Â
The Titans are on the road next week for their next two games against their two rivals. Â The Titans head to UC Irvine on Thursday and Long Beach State on Sunday.
