Serrano Scores Game-Winner in 88th Minute to Lift Titans Past CSUN

The Titans scored two goals in the final 15 minutes to defeat CSUN 5-4 on the road

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's soccer scored two goals in the final 15 minutes to defeat CSUN 5-4 Wednesday night at Matador Soccer Field. The Titans are now 7-2-2 on the year and extend their winning streak to five games and unbeaten streak to seven games.

With the game tied at 4-4 and the time winding down, Roberto Ordonez had a free-kick from a few yards outside the 18-yard box. CSUN tied the game at 2-2 in the 54th minute of play on Rhead's second goal of the match.

The Titans quickly retook the lead as Ordonez scored his second goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 55th minute. Fullerton earned the PK after CSUN was called for a handball inside the 18-yard box.

The Matadors went on to score two goals in the next four minutes to take a 4-3 lead with just over 30 minutes remaining in the match.
