BIG WEST RELEASE

IRVINE, Calif. - The Big West Conference announced on Monday that Cal State Fullerton Titans women's basketball senior guard was named the Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the seventh week of the season.

Vidmar went off for a career-high 29 points on Saturday against an undefeated CBU Lancers team.  Vidmar shot 56% from the field (10-for-18) and was 4-for-9 on three point attempts along with a perfect 5-for-5 on free throws. She also pulled down a season high 8 rebounds and had two steals and one assist.  She was a big part of the Titans comeback attempt against the Lancers after scoring 21 of her 29 points in the second half.  After the Titans were down by 13 heading into the fourth quarter, Vidmar hit three of her four three-pointers in the fourth quarter and got the Titans to within two points before the Titans ultimately fell to CBU.

Vidmar is averaging a career high 12.8 points this season and has started in all eight games so far this year.

This is the second player of the week honor in Vidmar's career after being named Big West Player of the Week last year on December 5th.

The Titans will finish out their non-conference part of the schedule this week as they take on No. 6 USC tonight at 7 PM at the Galen Center before returning home to take on Santa Clara on Thursday at 4 PM.
