California State University, Fullerton

JUNIOR (2024)
Appeared in a few games for the season.  She tallied two points for the season on two assists.  She drew two exclusions.  She also tallied 5 shots.

PRIOR TO CSUF
She attended Fullerton College for two years and graduated with an associates degree in DDS: Social Behavior and Self Development. She led the Hornets to a third place finish at the CCCAA State Championships in 2021 and a third place finish at the CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships in 2022.  During her freshman year, she played in 37 games and scored 15 goals and tallied 28 assists and 24 steals. During her sophomore season, she appeared in 33 games and scored 28 goals. She also tallied 34 assists and 13 steals.

HIGH SCHOOL
She graduated from Schurr High School in 2021 where she played four years of varsity water polo for the Spartans.  Her team won the Division 2 Regional Championship in 2019.  She played club water polo for the Commerce Aquatics in the National Junior Olympics league.

PERSONAL
She was born in Baldwin Park to Gabriel Martinez and Jennifer Bontrager. She has one younger sister, Miranda. She is majoring in Sociology and would like to become a school counselor in the future.  She was also recruited by Westcliff University and La Verne.  She enjoys spending her free time hanging out with her friends.  She models her game after Maggie Steffens.  Her favorites include Pasta (Food), Maggie Steffens (Athlete), The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Lilo & Stitch, Five Nights at Freddy’s (Movies), Ariana Grande, BTS (Musical Artists), Rosewood Park, Commerce (Place to Play), Joe Keery (Actor), California Pizza Kitchen (Restaurant).
