HIGH SCHOOL
She graduated from Golden West High School in Visalia, California in 2023.  She played four years of varsity water polo and four years of varsity swimming for the Trailblazers.  She was the  team’s MVP her junior year.  She was named First Team All-League her junior year, water polo. Most valuable player-junior year, swim. First team all league She was the team MVP her junior year in swimming. She came in 12th place in the Division 2 valley, 100 backstroke her senior year in swimming. She was an All-American her senior year in swimming and an All American her senior year in water polo. She was named First Team All-League her senior year in water polo. She was also named First Team All-League her senior year in swimming. She was named the school’s Trailblazer of the Year (Best Academic Athlete) her senior year, she was named to the National Honors Society her senior year, was a member of the honor roll her freshman through junior year and the principles list her senior year (4.0), She received a Seal of Biliteracy her senior year. She holds the Drawn kick out record ( in a single season) with 69 drawn kick outs.She also set the schools single season goals record with 85 goals in senior year. She competed for BullDog Water Polo Club under head coach Eric Benson.

PERSONAL
She was born in Clovis, California to Curtis and Sarah Summers.  She has six siblings, Jacob, Josh, Abby, Brooklyn Dees, Shayla, and Zoey Hormel.  She plans on pursuing a degree in kinesiology.  She chose to come to Cal State Fullerton because she liked the campus and fit in with the team.  She chose Cal State Fullerton over Cal State Monterey Bay.
