Kristin Mondientz joins Cal State Fullerton in her first year asthe program's Director of Operations. Her responsibilities includegame day management, travel coordination, NCAA compliance, andstatistical accumulation and analysis.
A 2007 graduate of Saint Leo University (Tampa,Fla.)with a BA in business marketing, Mondientz served as an assistantcoach in 2006 at Saint Leo as the Lions made their first NCAADivision II Tournament appearance.
Following her time at Saint Leo, Mondientz continued her coachingcareer in Saignelègier, Switzerland, leading herprofessional team as a player-coach to a 32-3 record which toppedthe league standings during the 2009-10 season.
For the last three years, Mondientz has been a head coach atTstreet Volleyball Club in Irvine, Calif., coaching beginners andadvanced players.
Mondientz played four years of collegiate volleyball beginning atFresno City College (2002-03). During her time at FCC, the teamfinished fifth in the state, and she received all-conference honorsafter leading the club in blocks, a record that ranks fifthall-time in the state. Mondientz also played basketball and rantrack at FCC.
After two years at FCC, Mondientz played right side and middleblocker at the University of Central Florida (2004) for one season,before completing her collegiate career at Saint Leo University(2005).
Mondientz is a 2002 graduate of Sierra High School in Tollhouse,Calif.
She currently lives in Huntington Beach and regularly trains andcompetes in beach volleyball.
