Biography

FRESHMAN (2024-25)
She appeared in all 31 games, making 3 starts...She played 535 total minutes and averaged 17.3 minutes per game...She scored 145 points and averaged 4.7 points per game...She scored in double-figures three times and scored a career high 18 points against CSU Bakersfield (2/15/25)...She shot 30.2% from beyond the arc (19-for-63)....She recorded 57 rebounds, 43 assists (1.4 APG), and 35 steals

PRIOR TO CSF
She played basketball for Njardvik in the Iceland Division 1 League under head coach Runar Ingi Erlingsson.  She won two cup championships with her prior club, Haukar.  She was named to the all-star team in the first half of the 2023-24 season and picked up two player of the week awards.

HIGH SCHOOL
She graduated from Verzlunarskoli Islands High School in Reykjavic, Iceland.  She played basketball for all four years there.  She was chosen as an honorable student for being particularly positive, polite and honest in communication with students and teachers. Her team won the Icelandic Championship and Cup Championship four times.

PERSONAL
She was born in Keflavlik, Iceland to Falur Hardarson and Margret Sturlaugsdottir.  She has three sisters, Lovisa, Elfir, and Urdur. Her career ambition is to become an architect because she loves everything about designing and building houses.  Chose to come to Cal State Fullerton because she wanted to come to the United States to play basketball and get an education.  Both her parents are basketball coaches back home in Iceland.  She played her first Euro league game when she was 16 years old and played her first women’s national team game for Iceland at 17 years old. In her free time she likes being with her family and friends. She also loves to go shopping, exercise, draw, and go hiking. Her dad Falur Hardarson played college basketball at Charleston Southern University  (1991-1994) and her cousin, Gunnar Olafsson played at Saint Francis College. Her dad also played professional basketball in Iceland and Finland.  Her game day superstition is to eat well and rest day before and on game days. She models her game after her father, her sister who played point guard, and Sue Bird. Her favorites include: Steak with sweet potato and pepper sauce (Food), Sue Bird, Giannis Antetokounmpo (Athlete), Indiana Pacers (Sports Team), The Bone Collector (Movie), Rihanna, Drake, ABBA (Musical Artists), Iceland and Finland (Places to Play), Ryan Reynolds and Jennifer Aniston (Actors), Hjahollu in Iceland (Restaurant)
