Lori Morris, who has spent the last four seasons on the women'sbasketball staff at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, joinsthe Cal State Fullerton program for her first season on the Titangym sidelines in 2012-13.

"I am excited that Lori has chosen to become a member of the Titanfamily," Foster said. "She brings with her a myriad of experiencesthat will greatly benefit and enhance our program. Her gameexpertise combined with the personal characteristics she possessesmakes her a great addition."

Morris recently completed her fourth season with the Ragin' Cajuns- the last three as the Associate Head Coach - overseeing teamdefense and academic progress as well as assisting with theprogram's recruiting efforts.

Prior to joining the Louisiana staff, Morris spent one season asthe head coach at Southwestern Junior College and 20 years as theHead Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Montgomery High School inSan Diego from 1987-2007. She helped lead the Aztecs to a share ofthe South Bay League title and a CIF San Diego Section Division IIrunner-up finish in 2007, earning CIF Coach of the Year honors anda berth in the California state playoffs.

Morris also helped Montgomery High School to Mesa Leaguechampionships in 2002 and 2005 and a quartet of Metro Leaguetitles, including three-straight league championships from 1995-97.She was named the San DiegoUnion-Tribune's Coach of the Year in 1997, helping theAztecs to a CIF Division II Runner-Up finish and a trip to thestate tournament, and was the CIF's Female Coach of the Year in1998.

Morris played collegiately at the University of San Diego from1980-84, leading the Toreros in assists all four seasons andranking second all-time in school history in that category with469. Entering the 2011-12 season, she continued to rank among USD'sall-time top 10 in field goal attempts (4th), assists (2nd),assists per game (3rd), and assist-to-turnover ratio (9th).

Her 162 assists as a sophomore continue to rank third in a singleseason while her 129 assists as a senior are fifth best. She twiceposted 13 assists in a game in 1981, ranking tied for second on thesingle-game list, while she also holds down two spots on theschool's single-game steals list.

Morris received her bachelor's degree in language arts from SanDiego in 1984 and earned her master's degree in education with anemphasis in administration from Azusa Pacific University in1990.
