While earning a BA in Mathematics at Cal State Fullerton, he was a student-manager for the men’s basketball team from 2021-2024. In 2021, Freeman helped the Titans to a Big West Championship title and helped secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in program history. During his second season with the team, he stepped into the head student-manager role and helped the Titans back to the Big West Championship.

Prior to attending Cal State Fullerton and helping the men’s basketball program, Freeman was a collegiate athlete at Los Medanos College while earning an AA in Liberal Studies. In 2019, he led the basketball team to the first CCCAA playoff appearance in nine years. Freeman has left a bit of history with every team as he also led the Heritage High School basketball team to their first ever DI North Coast Section Title in 2018.
