Scott Waterman

Scott Waterman returns for a fourth season coaching with theTitans and a fifth year in the program including his tenure asdirector of basketball operations for Head Coach Bob Burton for the2007-08 season. Waterman assumed his coaching duties on July 1,2008.

Waterman handles academics for the program and deservessignificant credit for the best semester aggregate gpa in theprogram's history with the team's 3.19 performance in the Spring,2011, grading period.

Waterman came to Cal State Fullerton after a five-year tenure atLong Beach State which was capped by a Big West Tournament titleand NCAA berth. He was a full-time assistant for the 49ers in2006-07 after serving three years as the administrative assistantand one as strength and conditioning coach.

A 2002 graduate of Occidental College, Waterman was a summerleague coach for six summers at El Toro High School and he hasworked at several high-profile collegiate summer basketballcamps.

Waterman played three seasons at Occidental and was team captainfor two years. In his senior season the Tigers went 18-7 and placedthird in the SCIAC. The product of El Toro High School earned hismasters degree in kinesiology at Long Beach State in 2004.

Waterman lives in Santa Ana with his wife of one year,Nicole.
