Played two seasons at Mt. Sac prior to transferring to Cal State Fullerton... Sophomore year had a .384 batting average, .464 on-base percentage and .612 slugging with 35 extra base hits and 68 RBI... Helped lead Mt. Sac to a South Coast Conference championship and state championship.

Attended Cajon High School in San Bernardino, Calif... Four-year letterwinner with the baseball program... Was named Cajon High School Male Athlete of the Year sophomore, junior and senior year...
