Appeared in nine games and made one start…batted .250 (3-for-12), scoring two runs and driving in two runs…batted 1-for-2 with a RBI single at USC (03/06) and scored two runs while also driving in a run against Pacific (03/30).

Born in Pomona, Calif. • Parents are Frank and Marleen Darras • Has one older sister, Natasha, who was a member of the women’s golf team at the University of Missouri • Unlce is Mike Sweeney, a five-time MLB All-Star who spent 15 seasons in Major League Baseball, including his first 12 with the Kansas City Royals…Nico enjoys hunting, fishing and performing as a DJ…models his game after Matt Kemp • Favorites include: Matt Kemp (baseball player), Chase Field (baseball stadium), Chipotle (restaurant), Miami Marlins (baseball team), Chase Field (place to play), “Sandlot”, “Field of Dreams” (movies), “Lone Survivor” (book).
