Attended Modesto Junior College for two years prior to transferring to Cal State Fullerton… As a freshman he hit .345 with 12 doubles, five triples, three home runs with 43 RBI, 42 runs and 21 stolen bases. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Turlock High School… Played two years of varsity baseball and two years of varsity football… Two-year captain with the baseball team… Earned first team all-league and named offensive player of the year his senior year after hitting .392 with five doubles, two triples, five home runs with 27 RBI and 20 runs.
