A 2016 graduate of Orange High School in Orange, California… Played three years on varsity under coach Dennis Gerbassi in the Golden West League… Was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2014 as a sophomore… As a junior, batted .494 with 14 doubles and 34 RBIs to break the school RBI single-season record… Was named second team All-CIF and first team All-League... In his senior season, he was named League MVP, Team MVP, Senior All-Star Game MVP, and second team All-CIF... He was also an AVID student during all four years of high school.
