Attended Poway High School... Played three years of baseball at the varsity level... Was named a team captain his junior and senior year... Given the Leadership Award his senior season... Made the honor roll all four years... Helped lead his team to a CIF Championship 2015.

Born and raised in Poway, Calif... Parents are Jack and Jamie Pellegrino... Has an older brother, Dan (29), and an older sister, Jenna (25)... Is currently majoring in Psychology at CSF... His brother Dan played for the Baltimore Orioles... Models his game after Mike Trout...
