AS A JUNIOR (2014)
Had his best statistical season as a Titan, posting a 1.68 ERA in15 starts, ranking fifth on the Titans all-time single seasonrecord book... Tossed 112 and 2/3 innings, ranking second on theteam, and allowed just 21 earned runs... Recorded fourcomplete-games and fanned 86 batters while allowing just 12walks... His 0.96 walks per nine innings average ranked second inthe Big West, 11th in the nation and was the fifth bestsingle-season mark in Titans history... Earned All-Big West SecondTeam honors for the first time in his career... Made eight startsin conference and compiled a 3-1 record with a 1.29 ERA, tossingthree complete games and two complete-game shutouts while fanning47 batters and walking six in 63 innings of work... Had a 0.90 WHIPto rank third in the conference and 14th in the nation... His 7.17strikeout-to-walk ratio ranked second in the Big West and 10th inthe nation... Was the second Titans pitcher this season to toss 10innings in a game, two days after teammate Thomas Eshelman tossed a10-inning complete-game shutout... Was named to the StillwaterAll-Regional Team after tossing eight innings in the Titans 4-3victory over No. 19 Nebraska in an elimination game on June 1...Struck out a career-high 10 batters on Feb. 23 against SanFrancisco... Was second on the team with 12 quality starts and wentat least six innings in 12 of his 15 starts... Struck out seven ormore batters on six occassions and allowed more than three earnedruns in a start just once.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Cal State Fullerton’s Sunday starter, finished the seasonwith a 9-3 record and 3.27 ERA in 16 starts…was named BigWest Conference honorable mention and was voted to the FullertonAll-Regional Team…tossed a total of 104 and 2/3 innings,striking out 76 while walking just 13…1.12 walks allowed per9.0 innings ranked 13th in the country and 5.85strikeout-to-walk ratio rated 21st in thenation…in 16 starts, totaled 11 quality starts and was partof three combined shutouts…tossed a complete game in thepostseason, holding Columbia to one run on three hits in nineinnings of work while striking out four as Fullerton prevailed 4-1(05/31)…pitched seven and 1/3 shutout innings while strikingout five in a series-sweeping 7-0 victory at TCU(02/24)…struck out a season-high nine and held Long BeachState to one run in eight innings of work in a series-sweeping 2-1win (03/24)…tossed seven shutout innings in 25-0series-sweeping win over Pacific (03/30)…tossed eightshutout innings and allowed just two hits while striking out fivein a series-winning 5-0 victory at Hawai’i (04/28).
AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Grahamm Wiest stepped right into the startingrotation on the opening weekend as a true freshman and, aftermissing three weeks with a minor injury, started every weekendafter March 24 • Earned Freshman All-American honors fromCollegiate Baseball • Posted a 5-5 record with a 3.12 ERA in16 appearances including 11 starts • Had 1 save (1.1 IP, 0 R,vs. Long Beach State on March 16) • Hurled 86 and 2/3 inningspitched (second most on staff) and allowed only 65 hits and 18walks while striking out 57 • Held opponents to a .210 battingaverage • Shared team lead with three complete games – a5-1 loss to Cal State Northridge on Apr. 1, a 10-0 shutout win atPacific on May 6 and a 1-0 loss to UC Riverside on May 20 in thehome finale • Struck out a high of eight in 7and 1/3 inningsof a 9-3 win at UC Santa Barbara • After a 1-3 start, won fourconsecutive in decisions (Apr. 7-May 13) before losing two of finalthree starts • Picked up first collegiate win (4-3) in secondappearance, in relief, with four scoreless innings at Texas A&Mon March 11 • In Big West Conference games was 4-3 with a 2.45ERA in eight starts (58.2 IP).
