As a junior, he finished 9-4 with 8 complete games, 63 strikeouts, 5 shutouts and a 1.20 ERA… Was named Daily Pilot Dream Team Player of the Year... As a senior, he finished 9-2 with 10 complete games, 93 strikeouts, 2 shutouts, and a 1.01 ERA... He was a Daily Pilot Dream Team member and named Second Team All-County... He was named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons.
