Tanner Carlson came to Cal State Fullerton in the summer in 2024. Carlson joins the Titans after working as a junior data operator for the Sacramento River Cats, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.

Carlson spent three seasons playing at Long Beach State (2019-22) before playing his final season at Texas (2023). In three years at Long Beach, Carlson had a .291 batting average with 42 runs and 35 RBI. Carlson had a .306 batting average at Texas with 17 runs and 14 RBI.
