Spent two seasons at Chaffey College and one season at Point Loma prior to transferring to Cal State Fullerton.

Attended Torrance High School... Was a two-yer letterwinner in water polo, basketball and baseball... Earned All-CIF Second Team his senior year.

Born and raised in Torrance, Calif... Parents are Kirk and Kristen... Has two siblings, Madeline and Isaac... Majoring in economics... His dad, Kirk, played baseball at Chico State... Grandfather and great grandfather played professional baseball....Pregame superstition is to take a nap before the game... Models his game after Michael Lorenzen... Favorites: ice cream (food), Al Hrabosky (athlete), Lego Movie and Warrior (movie), Korn and Tate McRae (musical artist), Doders Stadium (place to play), Bible (book), Will Ferrel and Tom Hardy (actor), In-N-Out and Olive Garden (restaurant).
