FULLERTON, Calif. – Titans Softball's Trisha McCleskey and Colby McClinton have been named Big West Pitcher and Field Player of the Week after standout performances at the Judi Garman Classic, the conference announced Monday. 

Following an undefeated 5-0 run at the tournament, McCleskey received back-to-back Pitcher of the Week honors while McClinton earned the first weekly honor of her career.

McCleskey, who is a four-time Pitcher of the Week, led the Titans in the circle over the weekend. In three starts and five appearances, the junior from Merced picked up three wins after pitching one complete game and the team's first shutout win of the year. She posted a 2.05 ERA through 22.0 innings of work, striking out 20 batters and holding her opponents to five earned runs on 17 hits. McCleskey currently stands 7-6 with 10 starts and six complete games. She leads the conference with seven wins, 80.2 innings pitched and 65 strikeouts. 

McClinton's bat stayed hot at the Judi Garman Classic, where she slashed .400/.400/1.000. In five games, the senior infielder hit three home runs and led the team with five RBI. She ranks in the conference's top five in six offensive categories, while leading the team in 12. Overall, McClinton enters conference play slashing .371/.400/.726. She has gone 23-for-62 at the plate with five doubles, one triple, five home runs, 19 RBI and 17 runs scored. McClinton has been perfect on the bases, stealing all four of her stolen base attempts. She has made 37 putouts and contributed to 36 plays. 

The Titans (11-9) open conference play at home against Cal Poly (6-13) with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m.
