LA JOLLA, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team won their sixth game in a row as they defeated the UC San Diego Tritons 4-3 on Saturday afternon at the Northview Tennis Courts.

The Titans improved to 7-2 overall for the season and 3-0 in conference play.  After losing two of their first three matches, the Titans rattled off six straight wins.  They went 6-1 for the month of February after dropping the first game of the month against Grand Canyon.

The Titans led 1-0 after getting the doubles point win.  Milena Gevorgyan and Amelia Zylberman won 6-2 in No. 3 doubles.  The Tritons won in No. 1 doubles 6-4 before Martina Markov and Seha Yu won in No. 2 doubles 6-4.

In singles play, the Titans won two quick matches on Court 6 and Court 4 to take a 3-0 lead.  Dana Kunza earned the win on Court 6 in straight sets with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Julia Visaya.  Seha Yu defeated Hana Gamracy in No. 4 singles 6-3, 6-4.  The Tritons then got two wins on Court 3 and Court 1 to make it a 4-2 match.  Emilie Lugon-Moulin grinded out a three set 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win to clinch the match for the Titans.  The Tritons earned a final point in Court No. 5 in three sets.

The Titans will play three games at home over the next week. They will host Youngstown State on Tuesday, March 3rd at 10:00 a.m..  They will then host the University of New Mexico on Saturday and Richmond on Sunday.
