Men's Golf Places 19th at Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational

Tanaka, Vidal, and Nguyen lead Titans after shooting 10-over par 226

ERIE Colo. – Cal State Fullerton men's golf finished in 19th place after shooting 37-over par 901 at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on Tuesday. 

Will Tanaka (76-77-73), Eliot Vidal (75-76-75), and Lance Nguyen (79-72-75) tied for 84th place with a score of 10-over par 226. 

Shibo Wang finished the tournament tied for 88th place after shooting 11-over par 227 (79-73-75), while Giacomo Comerio (15-over par 231) rounded out the Titans starting five in a shared 96th place. Comerio recorded an eagle on the par 5 hole 12 in the second round of play on Monday. 

The Titans return to action on Oct. 9 at the three-day Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, hosted by University of the Pacific, in Stockton, Calif.
