Men's Golf Places 13th at Ram Masters Invitational

Giacomo Comerio led the Titans with a score of 6-over par 216 and five birdies

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Cal State Fullerton men's golf placed 13th in their first tournament of the 2025-26 season. The Titans shot 49-over par with 24 birdies at the Ram Masters Invitational on Friday.Ā 

Giacomo Comerio led the Titans individually, finishing the two-day invitational tied for 26th place with a score of 6-over par 216 (74-71-71), including five birdies. The senior's final birdie came in the final round on the par-5 15th hole, the longest on the course at 580 yards.Ā 

Nicky Benton shared 36th place with two other golfers out of Colorado and Wichita State after shooting 9-over par 219 (77-70-72). Dante Lazare shot 16-over par 226 (77-70-79) to place tied for 66th, while Will Tanaka (74-79-81) and Lance Nguyen (80-75-79) shared 88th place with a score of 24-over par 234.Ā 

The Titans return to Colorado on Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invite hosted by the University of Colorado.Ā
