NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 road game on Saturday against CSUN.

The Titans fell to 8-7 overall and 2-3 in conference play for the season. 

The Titans dropped the doubles set after an epic battle on court number one for the point.  Both sides quickly tied each 1-to-1 after the Titans dropped No. 2 singles 6-1 and won the No. 3 doubles spot 6-2 behind Kaytlin Taylor and Seha Yu.  IT came down to the final match on court number where Sein Myoung and Milena Gevorgyan were locked in to a battle during the tiebreak.  The Matadors eventually prevailed 11-to-9 to take the doubles point and the 1-0 lead over the Titans.

CSUN scored the first point in singles to take a 2-1 lead before Sein Myoung got the Titans on the board with a 6-2, 6-3 win in No. 1 singles.

CSUN won in straight sets in No. 4 and No. 5 singles to secure the match point over the Titans. The TItans got one consolation point from Seha Yu who were in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 to get the win over the Matadors in Court Number 2 and make it a 4-2 game.  Kaytlin Taylor fell in a three set battle as well in No. 6s singles 7-5, 4-6, 6-10 to give the Matadors their fifth point. 

The Titans will need to shake things off quickly as they head to UC Irvine tomorrow. First serve is also at 11:00 a.m.
