SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif . - In a rematch of the 2024 Big West Tennnis Tournament Championship match, the Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team were bested 6-1 on the road on Saturday afternoon at Ronca Tennis Center.

The Titans fell to 9-8 overall and 3-4 in conference play.  

The Titans started the match down 1-0 after dropping the doubles point.  Cal Poly won the No. 2 doubles 6-0 to take an early lead.  In No. 1 and No. 3 doubles the Titans were close in both matches.  The Titans were ahead 5-4 in No. 1 doubles before it was called after the No. 3 pairing of Kaytlin Taylor and Seha Yu fell 6-4 to give the Mustangs the doubles point.

In singles, Cal Poly jumped to a 2-0 lead after winning in No. 6 singles in straight sets.  The Titans got their only point back in No. 1 singles as Sein Myoung won 6-1, 6-1 to make it a 2-1 game.  However, the Mustangs won the next four matches to earn a 6-1 victory over the Titans.

The Titans will conclude a 4-game road trip tomorrow against No. 42 UC Santa Barbara. First serve begins at 11:00 a.m.
