FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team swept an undermanned Colorado State women's tennis team 4-0 on Sunday at the Titan Courts.

The Colorado State Rams only had five healthy players for the match and were forced to concede the sixth singles point and give the Titans the No. 3 point in doubles by walkover.  The Titans were able to win in No. 2 doubles 6-1 to secure the doubles point and take an early lead in the match.  However, they played out the No. 1 doubles spot to completion where the No. 1 pairing of Myoung/Gevorgyan lost in the tiebreak, 7-6 (7-4). 

Heading into the singles portions, the Titans were up 2-0 by virtue of getting the walkover win in No. 6 singles and they only needed two points to clinch the match. 

Milena Gevorgyan put the Titans on the brink after winning her No. 5 singles match 6-3, 6-2 in straight sets to put the Titans on top 3-0. Sein Myoung was able to win her No. 1 singles match in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 to secure the match point for the Titans.

The Titans are scheduled to take on George Washington University at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego on Wednesday and at Point Loma Nazarene University on Thursday. However, there is projected rain for the forecast during those days.
